TEHRAN (Press TV) -- Iran's Football Federation has announced that the country's national team has been invited to the United States for two football friendlies.

Iran, which is hard at work preparing itself for the 2010 South Africa World Cup, has been officially invited to the United States for a 10-day camp and two friendly matches by the U.S. Soccer Federation, the Iran Football Federation (IFF) announced on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Blues Soccer Club is to host the Iranian team during its stay in the country, it added.
The 10-day camp is scheduled to begin on June 23.
